Who we are
About ZamPalm
Established in 2008, Zampalm is Zambia’s first commercial oil palm plantation, located in Kanchibiya, Muchinga Province. The company manages 20,238 hectares of land, with 3,864 hectares under oil palm and 1,100 hectares under an out-grower scheme. Its primary output—Fresh Fruit Bunches—is processed into crude palm oil, a key ingredient in cooking oil production.
Sustainability
Structured Expansion for Long-Term Productivity
The plantation has been developed in phases, with fields organized by year of planting, crop variety, and block layout for efficient identification, monitoring, and management. The first commercial planting covered 272 hectares in 2011, followed by 1,300 hectares in 2012 and 356 hectares in 2013. Together, these phased plantings form a structured, productive, and sustainable estate.
